Johns painting Bryant Park was recently awarded the Peoples Choice award at the 2011 Watercolor West Exhibition. John is the Invited Guest Artist from the United States in the 88th Anniversary Exhibition of the Australian Watercolor Institute 2011. He has two pieces on display. Johns painting Lushan Market just won the Gold Medal of Honor from the 2011 Allied Artists Exhibition at the National Arts Club in New York. His painting Shanghai Construction was recently awarded the First Place Silver Star in the 2011 National Watercolor Society Exhibition. Diamond District has won the Beechmont First and Gold Medallion at the Adirondacks National Exhibition of American Watercolor. The Asian Museum of Watercolor Art has purchased Johns painting Morning Fog for its permanent collection. %250D%250A%0D%0A
